As a Pastors Kid, there always seemed to be this certain pressure and this weight on my shoulders. My parents always told me that i always had to behave well and that I couldnt wear certain things because they were too casual for sundays. Im a Christian and this song seems to talk about many things I've felt and done. As a pastors kid, i felt as though i was watched. If i did something bad, it would reflect on my father. But yes, i slipped a lot and got in lots of trouble for it too. Here in america, the church we are at now and were at before didnt have many kids, especially males. I always felt alone, with noone to really play with or talk to. I was usally always the youngest and the only boy. It was as thought i was on one island by myself with an island nearby where i could clearly see all the other kids. I would pray to God every night when i was younger but now, i find it more and more difficult to do so. I sin so much now and foul language slides out of my mouth so easily. All those things I used to have so much guilt for doing, just doesnt seem to be creating the same effects. The bolded parts show what i feel and think to myself...

I'm Yours by Jason Mraz

Well, you done done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but your so hot that i melted
I fell right through the cracks, and i'm tryin to get back
before the cool done run out i'll be givin it my best test
and nothin's gonna stop me but divine intervention
I reckon it's again my turn to win some or learn some

I won't hesitate no more,
no more, it cannot wait i'm yours

Well open up your mind and see like me
open up your plans and damn you're free
look into your heart and you'll find love love love
listen to the music at the moment maybe sing with me
Ah, la peaceful melody
It's your god forsaken right to be loved loved loved loved Loved

So, i won't hesitate no more,
no more, it cannot wait i'm sure
there's no need to complicate our time is short
this is our fate, i'm yours

*scat*

I've been spendin' way too long checkin' my tongue in the mirror
and bendin' over backwards just to try to see it clearer
my breath fogged up the glass
and so I drew a new face and laughed
I guess what I'm a sayin'is there ain't no better reason
to rid yourself of vanity and just go with the seasons
it's what we aim to do
our name is our virtue

I won't hesitate no more, no more
it cannot wait, i'm sure
(there's no need to complicate
our time is short
it cannot wait, i'm yours 2x

no please don't complicate, our time is short
this is our fate, im yours.
no please don't hesitate no more, no more
it cannot wait, the sky is yours!)

well open up your mind and see like me
open up your plans and damn you're free
look into your heart and you'll find love love love love
listen to the music of the moment come and dance with me
ah, la one big family
it's your god forsaken right to be loved, loved, loved, loved
open up your mind and see like me
open up your plans and damn you're free
look into your heart and you'll find love love love love
listen to the music of the moment come and dance with me
ah, la happy family
it's our god forsaken right to be loved loved loved loved
listen to the music of the moment come and dance with me
ah, la peaceful melodies
it's you god forsaken right to be loved loved loved loved...

So i chose this one song, because it sort of describes how i feel sometimes these days. Before i never really thought about girls or anything. It was always just hanging out with friends that are guys. I never really talked to girls. Now, when i try talking to a girl, especially the one that i find very attractive, i have a really hard time. I dont know what to say, when to say it or how! i just "melt". As i've said before, i never thought much of girls. I just didnt see the big deal! We are so young and we think of hacing relationships. However, now, i feel a bit differently. Yet, it might be a bit late. I find myself, not boyfriend material and that now i just ahve to go for it. I guess there is no more waiting to be done, except for that special girl. Just hope when i do find her, She and I will be able to see things similarly and well, i dont know! never thought that far ahead. This year, there was a girl that when i try to be chill, i melted, and i fell right through the cracks. I got back though i believe. Its cool now, just moving on. Its all a learning experience i found out. Now that i wont have much freetime, i think the time part of the lyrics will apply in the future to how i will be. I dont know if any of this makes any sense. >.< and its probably all corny and stuff. >.<"

I chose this because this was one of THE songs that marked the change in my life where i began to grow interests in new things like dancing. One day, i was introduced to this one video, where i saw a person C walking. This song was playing in the background and when i first heard it, i was like, "OMG!!! This is so cool!". I started listening to it a lot and even began to learn the basics of Cwalking. I would practice it over and over and friends would say that C walking was over, and that it didnt fit me since i didnt have that ghetto look or whatever you call it. I ignored them and continued, but i just couldnt get my Cwalking to look decent! This song introduced me into something other than just breakdancing and got me interested in more types of dancing. It was this next song that pushed me to be how i am now.
Better Off Alone by Alice Deejay

Do you think youre better off alone?
Do you think youre better off alone?
Do you think youre better off alone?
Do you think youre better off alone?

Talk to me...ohhh, talk to me
Talk to me...ohhh, talk to me

Do you think youre better off alone?
Do you think youre better off alone?

Do you think youre better off alone?
Do you think youre better off alone?
Do you think youre better off alone?
Do you think youre better off alone?

Talk to me...ohhh, talk to me
Talk to me...ohhh, talk to me
Talk to me

I chose this song, not because of its lyrics. As you can see, there really arent that many verses, and its very repetitive. The reason i chose this song, is because it was the song that got me into raving----liquiding/flowing. I once saw a video where this one person was glow stringing, and it immediately caught my attention. This song was one of the first i listened to when i started. I thought it was just the coolest song ever and i really was addicted to it (as you can see, i really get hyped up over things i like, like obsessively). Well, i think this shows a lot about me because after my short lived C walking stage, i switched into rave / breaking and thats where i am. Im not very good at raving, and i definitely suck at breaking, but its something i do a lot (like when im jsut sitting down, ill practice flowing with arms and hands) and i have to say that these activities have influenced my taste in music. It really got me into songs with very hot beats, something that when heard, would make you think, wow, and get all excited. Well, when i first started getting into liquiding and like the whole pop lock + breakdancing, they didnt make any remarks or anything about it. However, when i started to flow/liquid more, people would say to me, "Why do you even practice that? You arent going to be great at it or anything." and they said it was stupid. WELL. now, because of the america's best dance crew, and people getting sucked into that, many of them apparently changed their views and i even saw some of the people who made those remarks practicing themselves.

Dear Seung of second grade,

You will once again move to another city, another school, and into another life. From the friends you make in Diamond Bar, Los angeles, make sure that you befreind Moses. Become very good friends because he will be a friend that you will stay in contact with at least till the tenth grade. You will have many memories with him in your short time of a year and a quarter. You will visit him during breaks and he will introduce you into the fast and free network of naruto manga. Notice everything around you. Remember how the classrooms were located, the school fair, the newly built play structures, the fields, and the activities you will do. Try to take pictures since you will regret not taking many. Diamond Bar is the first palce you lived in in America and make sure it will have many memories. When you get sent to summerschool, dont get mad at mom and dad since they didnt send you because you were stupid, they sent you since they wanted you to excel. In the time in LA, you will learn how to shoot a basketball and how to play catch. Also, since you can remember it, write about the palces we've gone before coming to the US. Plus, you will come to meet a girl named Jane. Jane lee i think. She is a very nice korean girl and since you are young, im going to tell you that you shouldnt be mean to her. I know itll be hard since when you are a kid, being mean to a girl is showing affection, but be nice. Well, even though you will like her a great deal, dont get too caught up in it since well, you're going to be moving to Northern California.

PART TWO "Seung, Read this when you move to NorCal"

So by now, you will most likey be at El Cerrito, at that house next to the church. You will probably be going to Castro Elementary as well. Dont get too attached to you friends there since well, you'lre probably going to hate hearing this, but you will be moving in less than a year. Oh, and dont get bullied around. Dont let yourself get punched and beat up on during lunch by those big kids. When that one chinese guy that's your friend Derek's brother punches you in the stomache, dont just walk away! Hit himm right back! You dont need to take any of that bullcrap from him and any other older kids! YOU ARE GOING TO BE MOVING AND WILL START A NEW LIFE AGAIN! Wait, dont listen to that last part. Dont hit anyone back. Take it from those kids since you wont have to take it that long. Just avoid them since most of them are stupid anyways. You just hang with John and Derek and just do well at school. Hmmm. Well, I would be dying to know so ill tell you. You will move to one of those large apartments(TALL ONES) that are next to ranch and you will go to cornell elemenary. Make sure you start Kuk sool won since it has done so much for me and it is still something im doing. You might also want to learn how to play the guitar and piano along with cello since im dying to be able to play the piano and guitar. Save you self time and energy and do whatever you can to prevent being forced into Choir. You do not have a voice for singing, and you wont get one. I'd know. Oh, before you move, you should check out the neighborhood since it turns out that your friend-to-be elena lam, moves into a house a blockish away! Oh, from the church in el cerrito, you will be happy to hear that you will not be the only boy. Once in a while Albert will come to church and when you move church, he will regularly come. Get to know deborah a bit more too, since she moves away and you wont have that many memories of being friends(one day, out of nowhere, she will add you on myspace). Trust me when i say this, Moving is bad, it always will be. I hated it and i still hate it. However, before you move, do everything you possibly can! Make the most out of it. However, without moving, you may never have met all the good friends you will come to have like Christian V, Christian P, JC, Jay, Cong, Quentin, Peter, Carina, David, Elena, Jonathan (all 3) and more. Plus, during times of stress of like when a big project is due, or a lot of papers are due, You will WANT to move, just so you wont have to do it. PS, dont make stupid choices in elementary school. Dont get into BeyBlades or into Magic, or into Yu Gi Oh. Most importantly, dont get into AIM. Sure you get to chat with people and stuff, but it sure as hell is addicting or timecongsuming. Plus if you dont listen to me and do stupid stuff, you will get grounded for like 9 months?(mom and dad will be new to grounding concept, so they make it longgggg and badddd) After u get ungrounded, most everyone on AIM will have different SN and the people you met will disapear making all that time wasted. Even that korean girl you grew fond of that lived back in LA, well you will lose a lot of that contact and =P. A good thing that came form AIM is that i learned how to type quickly and not with just two fingers. Focus on studying, You will regret it when you are a stupid tenth grader who is a dumb asian and a dumb person in general. You might want to get ahead of things since you pretty much already know the stuff you will learn during elementary school(things like math) and it will make things easier. OH Oh oh! Back to moving topic for a second, when you move to the house on Ordway Street, i remember i begged my parents to let me continue going to cornell(they want marin since u can walk there). I think you should make sure you do it since things in middle school could end up diferent and thats BAD. Sure if you go to marin, you will meet your trumpet rivals and cosections for highschool Jazz band, like David Teel and Theresa Aller. You could also meet Raymond, Elena, Quentin, and Jonathan.

Part Three: Read when you enter are in Middle School

Sixth grade is pretty easy. Keep up with schoolwork and take that math thest seriously! If you do, you might get to skip a math level and be doing good. Ohh!!! During middle school is where you get closer to a lot of friends and make certain new ones. hmmmm. Work your butt off in Kuk Sool so you can get a 1st degree by SIX strips not seven(even though normal is 9 or 10 stripes) If you work a bit harder, then you will be able to advance like 3 months earlier and it would be more impressive since you would get black belt at six stripes. (Dont worry about the jump side, front and spin kicks, just get that jump backside. You can break others easily) Middle school, you will do something so insanely messed up that i cannot even tell it to you. You will know when the time comes, but make sure you dont reply "im joking". Its something so bad and im ashamed of. Itll always come back. Im so weak and ashamed that i havent been able to apologize for what idid. Oh, and if you like someone, get the guts to tell them. Like when you like Jean and Gi Youn? Tell them! you might get lucky. cause you know, you find things out when you get older. Oh, yes. Eigth grade will be your prime year. You will be the most physically fit, so it is then taht you should start learning how to break dance and dance in general. If you wait, you will get out of shape and wont be able to do anything except for stupid liquiding, popping, and gliding. ohhh learn how to flip before you get any older and become afraid. When mookie punches you for no reason during PE, be cool. Dont hit him back(i didnt but im just saying just in case). Keep your head, he just wanted to start a fight with you. You wont look like you were scared or anything.(however if you decide to take him on, go to some more sparing classes since itll help). Oh yeah! make sure you go to tournaments! you would totallly own the competition for your division! Trust me on this one. I regret not going earlier. You could win gold im sure, at least in the forms. Also, when you get into Jazz band, go cut thoat! make your way to the top. If you get promoted, make it clear. dont let Neir push you dont in eigth grade jazz. And take jason's thrid char spot in 7th grade when the chance arrives. If you do, you might get to frist by eigth grade.

Last part: High School

Lets start with music. WHen you have lilienthal, DONT TAKE SHIT FROM HIM. You know how to play beats how they are written. Dont be all shy. Raise your hand when others dont! really focus on improvising since i still have a lot fo trouble with that. Dont spend so much time in the computer room playing LAN games either. Get out and socialize more. Make yourself known. Be seen! It may be too late, but if you havent already told jean or gi youn, tell gi youn ( i think jean has her BF by now). Itll probably be too late, BUT if you dont, you will regret it. =P. I really urge you to take part more in Kuk Sool and friking take classes more seriously. Try to hand out with friends more often too. Im sure mom and dad will let you hang out lets say, 30 percent of the time asked in 9th grade. By tenth grade, itll be like 15% or less, when asked. I cant say too much about nineth grade but there are sure a lot of regrets for tenth grade. Take Biology Seriously. SHit. Learn the material. Dont friking fail the midterm and study ur ass off since the final and AP test will depend on it. Thats the largest regret academically. Hmm. A tough one here. If you devide to break loose everything you;ve held inside, well, you will probably talk to david a whole lot more and get better friends. However! You may not want to since well, You will like someone and suprisingly may ask them out! (may NOT be best choice to even let them know or anyone else. Im not too sure myself yet). Just keep things inside like always and things will be fine. hmm.... Make sure the band prepairs for Reno more. You will get ONE supierior and TWO EXELLENCE. unacceptable! leave a mark! oh, you might not want to get sucked back into AIM as much since itll be really time consuming as well. I wont say dont get a myspace since you will meet your old church friend Deborah again, and get a facebook too. Since you will regain contact with moses.(you will call like everyweek for elementary, once in a while during middle school, hardly ever until faebook in highschool). Well thats all right now i guess. OH . work you're butt off in Mr. Ross's class since itll be a hard teacher for english n you arent that good in english. If you work your butt off, you amke scrape an A like i did. Take in every moment of your life. Once in Highschool, your childhood is gone. You have to worry about grades, GPA, SAT, AP classes. College will come up really fast and things will get realllllly depressing. Just lose yourself in the moments. I can really understand how there is no turning back. Ill never be a kid again. You are thinking thats what mom n dad always say, but this is YOU in the FUTURE. Well, i guess you'll find it hard to trust yourself too... Maybe some of these things will get into your head. Live the years so you dont have that many regrets!!!!

If you do that horrible deed in middle school n dont apologize, ill Be apologizing soon. I can feel it. I dont deserve to be forgiven but still! if this letter was possible, i guess i woulda apologized muchearlier......

i thought i had posted it....... I guess i must have only saved it onto word and forgot about it. sorry!

Thirteen Tacky Thoughtful Thoughts (TTTT)

We were given an extra weekend to do this assignment so that we may be able to spend a lot more time for this blog. However, most of us in our society have this irresistible urge to save things until the very last minute. I will bet you that one third to one half of the sophomore classes have turned their gadgets in.

With television, MP3, ipods, and computers are all a source of distraction when we get home and again, we have a craving to do them all at once. While we do our homework, we talk on the phone, watch TV, and go on the computer to chat. So homework that may take us an hour or two, ends up taking about 5 or 6.

Many males of the jazz band were excited to go to Reno but their only source of excitement wasn’t from the music they were about to play, but rather form the “hot” girls from each band. There were also talks of “hot volleyball girls” because they were having a tournament in Reno as well. No matter where or under what circumstance, it seems that some males just instinctively talk about the “hotness” of a girl.

We recently started playing tennis at school which brought back a few memories. Before people got to know me a little better, they thought that I was a tennis player because I looked like one. I would ask how I looked like a tennis player and whatever reason they told me, I knew that it was actually because I am asian. Korean to be more specific.

Asians and their accents. There are tons of videos of how asian people speak. People find it extremely funny of the accent they have when Asians try to speak English! Asians seem to have a lot of stereotypes and are made fun of quite often. You just don’t see as many people making fun of white folks when they try to speak Chinese or Korean, or Japanese.

If you want to get a job, learn how to play golf. If you know how to play golf, you will have a much better chance of getting a job than some person who doesn’t know how to play golf! This I learned from my golfing instructor. An employer will look at two applications; one will say they play golf, the other wont. The employer will say “you play golf? You’re hired!”

Video gamers. No matter what you do, you will receive a lot of trash talk. If you lose a match, the winners will call you noobs and to go suck balls. However, if you win, they will call you a hacker. There is no way to avoid this except to beat them badly and to just crush them. SHOW NO MERCY! Maybe about .0001% of the gaming population will actually say good game in a non arrogant way.

When you see something pleasing, your pupils expand.

There are two kinds of Yawas. One kind is when they say they are away, but is actually sitting right in front of the computer chatting away. The other is when they go invisible and appear offline when they ARENT! TOL?

Asians are truly taking over the world. You better watch out. There are many asian jazz musicians that are becoming big and taking over. You have the Asians that will just study and become doctors and get those insane GPA and get into those ridiculously hard schools. Most importantly, they are taking over YOUTUBE. Seriously! Winekone, Kevjumba, and Nigahiga are at extremely popular with their videos on how to be gangsters, talks of stereotypes and just random humor!

When “oh pilsing korea” is sang, it either sounds like, “ohhh peace in korea” or “ohhh piss in korea”.
Naruto!

I will critique on the popular anime show created after the manga Naruto. The main character as you can tell from the title, is Naruto Uzumaki. He is a ninja who in his childhood is despised by all members of his village because inside him is trapped the demonic Nine-tailed fox. He grabs attention by being the village troublemaker and vows to become the hokage(leader of village) so that one day, people will notice and respect him. When he becomes a jr ninja, he meets Sasuke Uchiha, a child who grew up alone because his brother had murdered everyone of the uchicha clan and fled. The third member of his team is the girl he has always liked, but who likes sasuke. Her name is sakura. The three form a very close bond as they go through mission after mission. A very big flaw is the american Naruto shows. The voicing is done horribly and the japanese originals are far better. Even though Naruto wins most of his fights, it does get tiring. He wins way too many fights that he shouldnt have been able to win. It is obvious that he is very much out of his league yet he somehow always manages to defeat them. The anime as also created way to many filler episodes that have wasted so much of the viewers time. They are left in a suspense filled moment in one episode and it isnt resolved for another two three episodes. The showing is also only thrity minutes long. I am a personal fan of the manga and do not watch the anime too often, but i can say that after every fight, naruto learns a new trick or becomes much stronger. Not only this, you would expect Naruto to be more competent when faced with tougher challenges but with each new coming enemy, the power difference widens and Naruto is always placed in the disadvantaged zone. Only after he is almost completely burned up on chakra and energy does something impossible happens. A couple of times of this happening would be cool and exciting, but seeing the pattern of him winning all his fights and doing the impossible does get quite boring. The only fight he as ever lost was when he was against sasuke when sasuke tried to gain more power through evil ways. There are the die-hard fans where they see nothing wrong with the manga at all, and there are those who are a bit more sensible and get a bit tired of it and needs to give it some time before continuing again. Sadly, i am one of those die-hard fans that sees the flaws but still loves to read it.

Lets see. It would be hellllla tight if i had the powers the dude from Jumper had. That way, i would be able to jump anywhere by just seeing the picture. It would definitely open up a lot more options for my day. I could be in paris for 30 minutes than then I could be in Egypt! Then i could visit EdgeHill dormitory / Woodstock school in India, and then jump to korea to see my grandma and soon to be married aunt. BUT. Since i don't have those powers and is next to impossible to have them, I'll have to settle for Korea. It would probably have to be Seoul, the capital. I dont think that it would matter WAY too much where i started as long as it is one of the larger cities. I would HAVE to go to Lotte world (look it up) and would DEFEINTELY have to go visit a certain uncle, who works at a radio station. He doesnt just work there, but he is the head guy of that KBS radio place. I would get to meet korean celebrities (you probably dont know any except for maybe Bi and se7en) but I know i would be able to meet the singers and people since my sister got to meet them when she went. Then, with a friend that came with me, we would head over to a PC room, and try going against those crazy ass korean people in starcraft. The game would probably be over in like 2 minutes and we would get ridiculed and sheet. But hey, they have crazy fast internet in korea and it would be nice to try out some other korean games for maybe 30 minutes. We;d take the train, metro, subway, whatever you want to call it to seoul if we werent already there and go to the Korean tower. I would go visit the museum(im sure a lot of the time would be spent in Lotte World). This would be ideal if i could bring along many friends since you know, the more the merrier. I would love to go watch some korean bboy crews and their performances and perhaps even sneak into their studio to talk to them and watch them demo and stuff. I would definitely try out the delivery system they have in korea as well. Id call a food place, order my food, and have them deliver it to me. GOD I WISH I LIVED THERE INSTEAD. They dont deliver just pizza, but almost everything. (would this have gone under my ideal life? food delivery?) anyways, I would then visit my cousin in at his school as a little surprise thing since its been years since i last saw him. Maybe i could get him out of school too. hehehe. Nah, my aunt would kill me and he might get behind since its so competitive with all the school and stuff in korea.

My ideal day could just also be hangingout with my friends, since i dont really get to do that. I dont really get invited to do stuff neither since my parents always said no, so they dont bother anymore. Just chilling with friends at someplace, playing videogames, cards, and just relaxing throughout a day would be really nice. just escape from the responsibilities and burdens of daily life with school and other stuff. Watch the sun rise and set on the horizon. That would be a great day...

What is of importance is what you can't see--what the wall is obscuring." When looking at this painting, you see the natural image surrounding the canvas. For all we know, anything could be hidden behind like a person, a cat, a car, or even a DEAD BODY. The art on the canvas shows ideal peaceful scenery and it makes me feel like the imagery is trying to portray a very lonely peaceful moment in time. When I first glanced at it, I questioned if there even were a canvas with the finishing picture. Then I noticed the white line going down with the brown spot on the window. Also, when I see the edge of the canvas on the left curtain, I can see that a part of the curtain is missing. I think that if I were to look at the canvas standing parallel to it, the image would be a bit off. Only when I would look at it in the angle we are looking at now, would I be able to see the continuous sight. I do wonder if the scenery outside is as it is depicted on the canvas or if it is something entirely different.

Well, I’m glad mister Ross picked a piece that I could be able to try and analyze because I would be dead if it was some abstract piece or a dot. It’s funny to me that a whole bunch of people will stare at pieces of art, nod their heads, and say I get it or something. I bet half those people are thinking what the hell is this? I don’t really get it, but since others do, I better say that I do too. I’m sure not everyone does this, but just a thought like this is funny to me.

My ideal future

Okay. I'll first start off by saying that I would be happily married. I would hope that my wife would be most beautiful in my eyes in every aspect and not some dysfunctional relationship. I would probably like to have two or three kids. I wouldn't care for how many boys and how many girls, as long as they wouldn't be either all boys or all girls. Pets…….. I have always wanted a dog and I absolutely think that huskies look the coolest. I also would probably have a dog that doesn't really shed much since one thing I don't like about pets is that their hair gets on everything. Before getting more into MY life, I would also like to have houses all around the world with beautiful views where my family and friends could go and relax and have fun! If possible, I would definitely like to have a house in korea that is modeled as those in the olden times. A lot to ask for, I know. Now, in my later life, I am hoping to still have close relations with my current friends as well as new ones. I am not quite sure of what kind of job I want but a computer guy or engineering job does not sound all that bad. Maybe an architect. Just maybe. I would also like a house on the large side. The kids would have their own rooms; I would like to have a recreation room, a computer room, and definitely a family room. I also believe a family van would be necessary along with maybe a Mercedes or BMW would be nice. I would have said Ferrari or a Lamborghini, but that would be too excessive right? Back to my house, I would also love have a large back yard and a decent sized front yard. In the front would be a porch with the swinging chairs, and a small table set. In the back yard, I would have a small barbeque area and those cool stone tablet things on the ground that led to a small garden with a semi-long bench in the middle. If the backyard had a large tree, I would definitely build a treehouse for my kids and the family. I went to a person's house, and they had a firkin three story treehouse with rooms and a top patio that overlooked their neighborhood. I wouldn't make something like that, but maybe the treehouse could be used for kids sleepovers and other than that(I've always wanted a treehouse). You are probably thinking that I might be spoiling my kids, but hell no. They are going to work for whatever they have. I don't have an allowance myself, so I'd probably give them a small allowance. Like me, they wont be getting cell phones until late high school years and will definitely not get any high end tech stuff that will cost thousands of money. Maybe I'll get them a gameboy…(too mean?) Hmmm. I would like to spend my time with my wife and kids. During off office hours and would also like to spend time with friends. A part of a room could be like a half circular window spot with a cushiony seat where a person could sit and read with the rain splashing. If a child of mine became interesting in a specific hobby, I would encourage them to following through with it. I would want them to try out many things and to go far with them so that when they decided to pick what profession they want, it wouldn't be as hard for them as it will be for me. I am still debating on whether I want my kids to go to a private school or public school (or send them to the school Mr. Ross teaches at). I think I would first send them to a public school then maybe I would have them transfer to a private school. This is getting quite long so ill wrap it up. I would also like my parents to live sort of close by. Maybe they could help raise my kids, and I don't know, I feel that I should be taking care of them when I grow up and they age.

Hmmm. When i was a really really small kid, i remember my parents(mom) always forcing me to wear all these vests and sweaters that made me go nuts. I hated it so much. Back then, All i wanted to wear was a plain old T-Shirt. and shorts. But no, my mom always got her way and i was dressed up however they wanted. To tell you the truth, thats pretty much the only thing i remember. I know that as i entered Upper elementary school, i usually just wore shorts, khakis, or jeans with t-shirts and shirts. Then, as i got older, i remember that i thought large t-shirts and sweaters with torn jeans were really cool. Well, jeans that either that tears, or jeans that were patched up from tears. So, i would wear really big shirts with torn jeans to school and everywhere i went. Everything was Big back then. If it wasnt big, it wasn't cool. I am hoping that i wasn't the only person who has gone through this phase. Now that i look at a few photographs, i can see that some are okay, but most of then are hilarious because i see a small kid wearing clothes that are HUGE(relatively speaking). At this point, all my shoes were also tennis shoes. I guess the next phase for my attire were strictly jeans and a nice fitting sweater with any kind of t-shirt underneath. It would be tennis shoes, with blue jeans, and one of the sweaters i rotated around. I wasn't into the whole ghetto looking dress that other people were in in middleschool and near my eigth grade year, i began to like to wear button down shirts. My style was influenced by my sisters who are both older than me. I had a really nice red one with i think white stripes from Banana republic, but when we took it to get dry cleaned, i got my buttons back. WTF! they said that the color came off and ruined other peoples clothes and shit and that the only thing that could be used was the buttons. We used to get or still get our dry cleaning free, or REALLY cheap, but still! I LIKED THAT DAMN SHIRT! well, i still like them now, but i dont really have many. Most of them became too small so i gave them away. well, I moved into nineth grade and i guess from the button down and sweaters, i moved into polos. i like polos. In fact, if i could, i would wear them everyday. of course i dont have the money to buy a lot, but i make do with what i have. I dont know why, but i like the whole collar thing. I remember that i used to hate these kinds of things when i was a lot younger, but now i actually enjoy wearing them. I think im trying to go for the preppy look whenever i can. I have a couple PUMAs and a White lacoste with red inside/lined for the nicer clothing i wear. I can at least say, that i try to match my clothing with the shirt colors and the shoes. I had a kick wearing my Pink polo with a white (sweater?) vest to school this year. I got some remarks, one being"you're on the golf team aren't you," (im not), another being "wow, thats too much", and one was actually something like a compliment. ACTUALLY, it was more of a salmon color i think than PINK. Only real men wear pink. right? anyways, i still wear sweaters with my jeans, but i now also sometimes wear khakis, and sweats to school. It isnt anymore strictly jeans. I had a pair of pre-ripped jeans(i got mixed comments, some bad some good) and one of them somehow got stuck on the side of a car, and it ripped into a medium sized hole. SO, i guess i havent really given up on the ripped ejans look cool thing either. I guess what my high school attire is, is just a combination of everything that i have worn(EXCEPT FOR THE REALLY BIG THINGS Phase). i know my attire isnt the most interesting or interesting at all, but i really dont have much insight to what i used to dress. i guess i could try to find a picture of me in about each stage.
If hairstyle also counts as a part of a person's style, then all i can say is, i have had my hair like a typical asians, just straight down. I think that for about a couple of fragmented weeks in eigth grade, i gelled it up, but then went right back to just the normal style. I now only gel it if it is a special occasion of some sort. (i also now dont mind wearing suits since i have to for orchestra concerts.) <----- what i cant get over yet, is that for the orchestra concerts, we have to wear bowties.........

Interview three???

1. Do you believe in karma?
No i dont believe in karma. What goes around comes around and things like that are considered to fall under karma right? If you do good, good things will happen, and if you do bad things, bad things will happen. I guess there are many times people, including myself, say thats Karma if someone does something a bit messed up and trips or something. There are a ton of people who do bad things and still have a lot of good things happen to them, and vice versa. If you mean Karma as in the Halo MLG player in carbon team, and if i believe he will stay in the team, then yes since he is one great player..... you can ignore this last sentence...

2. What one current event in any aspect of world news do you think is being most neglected or underrepresented?
Pass.

3. If you could have any one superpower, what would it be and why?
Superpower, i think the super power i would have to have is me being able to grant myself anypower i wished. No, thats the stupid answer...... The superpower i would have is telekenises, or something like the power Jean has in XMEN(it is Jean right? i'm not a big xmen fan, sorry). I would like to have her power, except for the madness part controlling me. It would trump most other powers since i would be able to make them do anything i wished.

4. If you could invite any 5 famous people or characters to your birthday party, who would you pick?
Wow. This isn;t something that i would normally think about. I would have to invite Darwin, Plato, Aristotle, Lyell, and Malthus so that i can have them have a discussion on their thought of evolution. This way, i could just copy down everything they said and turn it in for AP Biology. I really dont want to write up a stupid paper having them have the discussion at a dinner so if they were there, i would have an easy time. YA RIGHT! like hell would i invite those guys. they're all dead. i really dont know. Im not tooooo into the famous celebrity world and artists/actors everyone knows about. I think id invite Bill Gates so that i can try to create some kind of connection. =]......Uh another person would be Jesus, since well, HE'S JESUS! dam. that would be tight if he came in physical form. THIRD, i would pick the Creatore of Disney,(try to have some hookups again i guess), FOURTh, im all out. i just cant think much since i got that story to finish by tomorrow.

5. If you could live in any film or book, what would you select? Would you want to be one of the characters, or would you want to be you (introduced as a new character)?
I would like to be a new student in Ender's Game. I guess since it was very cool to play skirmishes and have rankings of armies and everything. The whole book was very interesting with all the cool equipment they had.
And of course, the Halo side of me is wanting to be a new spartan maybe spartan II? To be able to do what the Master Cheif can do and work with him, and to face first the covenant then the brutes. All that adventure seems to be really cool.

6. Who of your friends would make the best president? I can't wait to know why.
Which one of my friends. I dont think that most any of my friends have the train of thought that would help them succeed in being a president. But, i guess i would have to choose a friend of mine who goes by the name. Dam i cant do this. None of my friends would make a good president. Most of them are asian too. I think some were born in canada, and others out of this country. If they werent born out of this country, they arent really american-like since they all act asian from either going to their home country when they were young, or just being stupid(Asians can be stupid?). So, for the ones who werent born in the USA, they wont even be able to run for election and the ones who were wouldn't get very far.

7. I used to always trip out that my strawberry Chapstick tasted so strongly like strawberries (and why was I eating so much Chapstick?). Then I realized that it wasn't the taste that was strong; it was the smell. They say that smell is the strongest scent. What is your favorite smell? USE CONNOTATIONS, FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE, OR ANALOGY in your (butter) saucey answer.
My favorite smell is the smell of food. Well, at least the smell of foods that i like to eat. Some of them smell nasty when being cooked, but most of them smell great. It's great to smell the food before i eat it because it gets my mouth all salivary, and its like the first taste.

8. If you could invent a new class for AHS to teach, what would it be?
I would create a workshop class, where they teach you how to create many things. One of these things would be carpenting, or just learning how to make things out of wood. The next thing would be to learn how to forge things and make parts for engineering, etc. I dont think that our school has enough classes in these areas opr classes where things are very hands on. These things are neccessary for students because it can help them see what they excel in and help them to determine what kind of career they want to have.

9. Identify any symbol from any film ever (pick your favorite if you can think of many from which to choose). Identify what it means and why you picked it.
The ring from Lord of the Rings. I picked it since it seemed the mopst obvious and because it seemed to be something that everyone would know. It shows how power makes people go mad/crazy and that you should never accept rings from anyone. Fine, maybe accept rings from the person you might marry, but maybe they put a curse on it so make sure that you cast a decursing thing or to throw it in the fires of mount doom. Then, make a duplicate or something.

10. Will humankind still exist in 300 years?
This is hard to tell. You dont know if we will exist tomorrow. It would be cool to see how the earth and human kind will be like once we develope and enter new levels of technology and etc. Maybe there will be hovercrafts and cutomated driving(iRobot) and space travel that can go faster than light, or warp. Maybe at one point in the future, things will become stable and the world will set asisde their differences and get along. However, the world may end up just blowing itself up because of all the wars that may break out. There are so many weapons of mass destruction that the next world war may be the last. you can really predict the future for 300 years. ALSO, i almost forgot, the icecaps may have all melted by then and there would be know land. But, to survive im sure we would have thought of something like living on mars or some other solar system. Possibly like Spader's(guy from pendragon?) home planet where its all land and they grow food in the water and etc. who knows...

11. What is the most embarrassing song to ever grace your IPOD? Why was it there, may I ask?
this is wonderful. i dont even need to use my pass for this question becuase i have the truthful and best answer there possibly can be. I DONT HAVE AN IPOD and i never had one before. SCORE! I think that it was the High School Musical "Get your head in the game". Why was it there? im not so sure myself. I think when i first saw it, i thought it was HEACKAKS cool. then, maybe since everyone else said it sucked and was stupid, i felt embarrased for having it and began to think myself, that it was stupid.

However, if you want an answer, i guess ill make an exception and use mp3 player. Yet, even the mp3 players that i had werent totally mine, my sisters used them as well. Anyways, the song would be a weirdass techno-ee songs from the halo soundtrack. it was there since i just ripped the CD and put the whole thing into the mp3. The other halo songs are fine thought. it was just that one that was hella weird. Halo 3 soundtrack was a bit of a disapointment though. it wasnt that great and was only okay...
12. Corey Chin's brilliant question (and it's got me curious): How much would you charge to clean Mr. Ross' microwave?
I would ask for twenty dollars for the beginning charge and 15 extra for each hour it takes me. I mean, ill have to take it apart, clean each part, scrub the inside, get rid of any smells, and put it all back together. Im sure i missed a tons of things id have to do to actually clean the microwave well. Plus, id take my time so that i can make a whole bunch of money. Or, my payment could be that Mr ross could give me 2 pennies the first day, 4 pennies the next, 8 the next, and keep doubling the amount for 30 days(1 month). If Mr. Ross is like that guy in the story, he'll think i let him off easy since he only has to pay me around 3-4dollars in the first week. Little would he know that by then end of one month, itll will end up being millions!(do the math if you dont belive me).<---me just being a bit asian...

13. Did you support your answers?
Yes, i supported most of my answers in places that i could support them. I dont know if i am suppose to support this question, but if you read my answers you will see that i have written why i chose each thing i did.

Wow, there are white people on TV. It’s the Superbowl halftime show and there are three guitarists and I think a pianist. Wow a guy came out of a cup in a restaurant in a commercial. Cup of milks is right next to me. I wish there was no school tomorrow. Too much crap this weekend. A three and a half hour dress rehearsal and four concerts. I guess CMEA was worth it though since we got a unanimous superior. Gosh the guest that’s over is having trouble with the living room door. At least he isn’t the new people from Korea, or that one Korean guy that ignores me whenever I greet him. I mean what the hell. WE’RE at a San Francisco symphony concert and we meet him there. I bow and greet him in Korean respectfully, and this is all in front of his dam face and he just turns around and calls for some kid. Dam and today, I greet him again after service and he fucking ignores me and just walks away. The score to the super bowl is three to seven (Giants to Patriots). I think we might have zacharies pizza for dinner. I want ramen though. Jeeez. This sucks so badly. All that comes to mind is all the homework I have to do. At least this blog wont take too much time and isn’t too hard. Jeez, now my sister and my mom is discussing about my dads sermon today, and how he did something wrong. Solano, had zacharies pizza, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Actually, I think I want sushi. Go over the taco sushi in Berkeley and order a bunch of roles and maybe udon. My sister is telling my dad about football even though she doesn’t know too much about it except for how interception works. Wow. A panda is on a commercial . Ling Ling’s Bamboo future? What the hell? AP Biology sucks since the teacher assigns too much homework that takes way to long and is boring.

i guess im not a very fast typer. its pretty short.

Lets mix it up!

(i dont quite know how the title/Subject relates, exept that they both have MIX)

Lil Scrappy, Police

This song starts out with the verse “Ey Ey Mr. Police is you hearin me you can do yo J-O-B Witout F*ckin touching me”. This immediately jumps to the many incidents where the police try to question Spade and how he always seems to get more answers rather than get them. The police nag him about first how he could be a suspect and bother him by even going to his house. Spade himself does not really like to associate the police in his work and must have this exact same thought running through his head. However, the feeling of dislike between the two is mutual. “Police don’t love me,[…] Some of em cool and some of em rude”, is a part of the second verse, show how one of the two officers that bothered him at his home hated him and had a feeling close to wanting to disembowel him.

No Doubt, Detective

“Peek in, sneak out” is the first verse of the song. This gives the feeling and sets the mood of being sneaky and investigating areas as how a detective should. This relates to the story because it is a detective novel in which the main character Spade sneaks into Ms. Brigid’s apartment. The next part of the song, “I feel you have failed me, once again you let me down, my confidence below my knees” brought out the scene where Brigid lies to Archer and Spade about who she was claiming to be and the reasons for why he wanted them to follow Thursby. Although his confidence in here wasn’t lost because he had caught on to her lie, in later scenes he finds out that she lied again about the truth and was hiding something. The verse can show the disappointment and he feeling Spade must have felt after finding this out. Many of the verses in the song relate mainly with the relationship and connection between Brigid and Spade. “It’s too late you’ve already killed the trust” and “I’ve caught you, you’re hands are red” are also other versus that are sung later in the song and they explain how Spade doesn’t trust the girl and that in the end how he found out about everything despite her wanting to keep it a secret.

Natalie Merchant. “Tell Yourself”

Spade until the never quite figures out Brigid. “Who taught you how to lie so well And to believe in each and every word you say?” is one of the beginning verses of the third phrase, which reminded me of how Brigid could act so naturally at being someone she really wasn’t and Spade also noticed how her behavior was self controlled to deceive. “Look in the mirror, look in the mirror, what does it show?” By looking in the mirror and not know exactly what you see is like Spade’s situation. He sees Brigid and from the way she looks and acts, he is compelled to think one way about her but he tries to look deeper rather than just a ‘mirror image’.

Maroon 5, Nothing Lasts Forever

I personally thought that parts of this song displayed the relationship between Spade and Brigid. The first verse, "It's so easy to see the dysfunction between you and me" describes how their relationship doesn’t function well because there is the certain mistrust. Then it shows how Spade feels toward Brigid. “With every worthless word we get more far away [...] but nothing lasts forever, but be honest babe, It hurts but it may be the only way". He feels that all the lies she keeps telling him keeps him away which prevents him from helping her. He knows she is lying and only wishes to hear the truth from here which doesn't come until near the end of the book. The only way he was to solve the case and make sure everything turned out okay for him was to figure out the truth and that one or another he would get the truth and that it might not be too pleasant. We also learn how Spade is in need of a fall person for both her and himself, "You're still too reluctant to accept my help, what a shame, I hope you find someone to place the blame". Another part of the song, "Though we haven’t hit the ground, Doesn't mean we're still not falling", shows how, with the previously mentioned part, Spade cleverly uses reasoning to discover the truth and to acquire a fall person.

Green Day, Castaway

For my last song, I picked one that resembled and spoke about the Maltese Facoln. It begins with the history where it is sent off as a gift. “I’m on a […] journey, […] of no return and no looking back or down.” I then connected the line “I’m on a mission In the destination unknown…” to how the Falcon travels oversea just to get stolen and lost in history. It reminded me of how the Falcon has no true destination and that is placed all around the world in the hands of a variety of people. Only a few know if its existence and that for the few it creates a lot of trouble. “Lost and found, trouble bound” tells of how the Falcon is passed on from one to another without its significance being known and how to the possessor and the few who know of it, it creates a lot of trouble such as the murdering of deliverers, deception among co-workers, and how a life comes to an end searching in vain for the masked Maltese Falcon.

What is my favorite food? What is the dish that i favor the most? This is such a hard question because there is so many good food out there. Anything i enjoy eating could easily pass as a favorite. However, one kind of food that stands out is korean BBQ, Kalbi. Kalbi is eaten like most other asian/korean dishes with rice. It is also eaten with cucumbers, lettuce, green peppers, and garlics. Oneway is to just eat the food separately, but another way to eat them is to wrap up some rice, green peppers, a garlic or two, and kimchi; all korean meals have to have kimchi. There are many ways of eating this dish but any way you eat them, they all taste great.

From the moment you walk into the restaurant, you smell the Barbeque cooking from someone else's table and your mouth waters. When the ribs finaly arrive, you cut them into small pieces and the begin to cook. The time it takes for it to be ready seems to last forever and in the meantime there is no choice but to eat the side dishes that are out.The moment one piece is done, you just don't know if the first should be given to someone else. although a bit greasy, sometimes a little overcooked, nothing matters because the taste is strong and just so damn good. This is something that one must go and try for themself. If you dont want to go out and eat, you can always buy it from a store(costly) or you can make it yourself at home!

Expensive as it is, it is something that you can make yourself at home; It will be cheaper but if you cannot make it well, it might not taste good.I've only helped make Korean BBQ once, so i do not know if this is exactly how it is made. First of all, you buy the ribs. You wash the ribs, soak them in water, and and the hang them out to let some of the water out of the meat. Then, the next thing you need to do is marinate the ribs. The marinating sauce is made of soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, ground pear, onions, ginger, and also a bit of red wine. So you marinate the ribs and refrigerate it for a night, and then the next day, you should be able to eat it. You can broil the ribs, cook it in the oven, or put them on a grill. Each way gives a slightly different taste and i stress that it will definitely take practice to make it taste good if you are making it at home; you should also be aware that i may be missing a few key ingredients. As great as it is to save some money, i prefer to go out and eat at restaurants because it seems to give a better atmosphere and making the dish yourself is sometimes tiresome.

List of Materials for a Meal:
(and to make yourself)

Lettuce Rice

Kimchi Garlic

Red wine Onions

Green pepper Cucumbers

Pears Ginger

Another Interview?

1. If you could be a fly on anybody's wall, on whose wall would you perch? Why? What would you do with the information?

hmm. i would first make sure that the person doesnt mind flies. That way, I would decrease my chances of dying. But, i would be a fly on my own wall so that i can see if people do anything to or in my room. It seems a lot of my things 'disapear' since i cant find then anywhere anymore.

2. What is your favorite piece of art? Describe what it looks like. Why do you like it so much? How does it make you feel? Does it tell a story? Have symbolism?

I am not a very big art person. I only know of the REALLY famous ones like the Mona Lisa. I've heard that there is a small mystery of why the lady is smiling and that if you look at the painting from any angle, it looks as thought she is staring at you.

3. If you could choose your parents, how would they be? Describe how they look, act, and parent. What do they do (for work, hobbies, etc)?

I think im happy the way i turned out from the way my parents raised me, and if i had to change them, i dont really think that i would change their occupations, hobbies, or looks. I feel I would change them into parents that i feel i can really talk to about feelings or just things that happen. I see my friends parents and see that he can talk to them and that they show that they try to understand and things like that. I feel that i cant really talk to anyone about my feelings or anything even to my parents. Maybe(or even probably) it is an asian thing and i find that i can deal with a lot of things. There are just times in my life where i feel so misunderstood and if i try to talk to my parents about them, it just doesnt work. It seems like they dont even try to understand and that its either their way or the highway.

4.If you could live in any decade, which one would it be and why? ELABORATE. What opportunities would you take advantage of in said decade?

Im not sure what decade since im not a very historical guy(especially dates) but i would probably like to live in the older/olden times in korea such as the time that is based on many korean shows. I find it really cool to watch how in the past everything took skill and the part of how there is many warriors and the usage of swords, shields, bows, and arrows. The way the old palace/houses looked are very interesting to me. I do not think that i woul dhave any REAL advantages because i cannot use any of the weapons as well as others and do not know the landscape as well as the residents. However, i think that with time, i would have an advantage in the strategic part since learned of methos that have not been created yet.

5. If you could/had to be any Disney character, who would it be and why?

a Disney character.... thats a tough one.... I would have to be Mickey Mouse. I remember watching a lot of looney tunes when i was a kid and never really much of traditional disney characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto(looney tunes and Disney is different right?) For Disney, i would probably be Mickey, because he is the one who really brought everything to where they are now. The first one and the most famous one too. Also, in Kingdom Hearts, he is king and i wouldnt mind being king for a while either.

6. There is a difference between the moral man and the criminal in that the moral man has a legitimate reason to steal. Support or refute this idea (that a person's objectively bad deeds can be justified by the subjectivity of their life).

i SO didnt understand this question... Not knowing what im really trying to answer, im just going to give it a shot. I dont think that there is any 'legitmate' reason to steal. stealing is stealing. However, there are certain circumstances in which we think stealing is okay. For example, if a man has lost his job, his house, and car(pretty much everything). He has no money and he and his wife are starving. Lets say that he stole some food to feed his wife. People would think it was a great thing to do, except for the store he robbed. like i said before, i dont know if this answered to question but i just answered it with some stealing thoughts. -_-

a movie that might have already been filmed. not sure since the iedea feels familiar

^^^^^^pretty long header^^^^^

ANYWAYS

The movie I would make would revolve around a murder. It would have three main characters, the murderer, the victim, and the detective investigating the crime. The beginning of the movie would start off in the murderer’s shoes. Everything that goes on will be portrayed with the criminal and how he thinks and plans the murder will be going through his head. Then, a bit before the murderer commits the act, it switches to the victims thoughts and how he feels. So the victim will become the lead for however long the scene takes place. The spotlight will move once again and this time to the detective. It will focus on how the detective tries to figure out how everything happened and how he tries to catch the culprit.

The to-be murderer is a college student who is majoring in English. For his final paper, he was to write a story about something perfect. It was to be the rough draft of the story which he had to work on all year. After days, weeks, and months of hard work, he finally felt that it his rough draft was ready. He titled it the Perfect Murder and turned it in to his professor. After anxiously waiting for what seemed to be an eternity, he received his paper back but when he saw his grade, he was not happy with it. He thought that his paper was the best and that the murder truly was a perfect murder in which the culprit could not possibly be found. After feeding his anger with more and more hatred, he decided to show the professor exactly how perfect his story was. The professor having some tea in his small condo hears a knock on the door and thinks to himself, who would that be at this time of night? He opens to door to see one of his students from the past year and lets him inside and offers him a cup of tea. He declines and so he strikes up a conversation. His student brings up the topic of his story and then abruptly ends, stands up and leaves. Wondering what that was all about, the professor locks his door and then it transitions to the detective. The detective arrives at the scene of what looks like an ordinary death. The professor had died in the comfort of his home, the front door was locked from the inside and so were the windows. However, one thing didn’t add up and it was the fact that the professor was at the height of his age and had many job opportunities that any professor could dream of. Why did he commit suicide? Even though the case was considered closed, the detective did not believe the professor had committed suicide. It was also strange because this case seemed extremely like the perfect murder attempt he had written as a competition between him and his close friend.

I’m not too sure what how the story will develop and I’m sure that I’m missing a lot of things to make it better, but one thing I would do is have this all take place in London about 40 years ago. I would try to have some scenes be black and white and try to put some flashbacks. It would be great if the characters were connected by some odd loose way and if there was a twist in the plot which made everything upside down and the audience wouldn’t be able to know who to trust or what would happen next.

my machine invention

I think that if I could create anything in the world, it would be a machine that would take a scan of the person’s tongue, take a survey, and then it would create the user’s most favorite food just the way they liked it. It would make it tasty and as healthy as possible and would require almost nothing at all to make it. It would be nice if the machine could do all this very quickly and could multitask so that if it was used in a household, a mother would have an easier time to make meals. The machine could also be used in a place for homeless people so that it could create a lot of food for them. I know this is totally out there, but it would be cool if the machine could take atoms and create foods that would match the person’s taste bud perfectly. The machine would be very small so that it wouldn’t take up a lot of space and would have something like a zapping ray where it would materialize the food. A machine that could create what your taste bud wanted at that certain point in time and being able to eat almost anything would be a dream come true. I would probably use it to eat at food, but if I really wanted to eat something, I think I would still go out and eat because of the difference between a human and machine. I think I would have this machine because I don’t have a lot of food at home to eat, and the things we do have is not something I can make as a snack. Because of this, I usually end up eating unhealthy food such as junk food and ramen.

Questionnaire

1. What is your favorite book?

My favorite book would most likely be Ender's Game, by Orson Scott Card. However, I recently read a book called The Legacy, by D.W. Buffa and it made its way to the top of my list. I am drawn to these two books mainly because their plots appeal to me. Ender's Game takes place in a futuristic time where the world is held together by the fear of extermination, and The Legacy, is about a lawyer who goes to trail defending a client accused of murdering a senator running for governor. Both have interesting twisted plots and the characters in both books are very well developed, intriguing characters.

2. If you could/had to live in any country besides the United States, where would it be?

I cannot pick a country although i have been to many as a child. I would love to go back to Korea and live there, but a part of me would also like to go someplace with a beautiful scenery such as Cyprus.

3. Who is your favorite superhero?

My favorite super hero is probably Batman. Batman is a normal human being without any super power. He becomes a hero after the murder of his parents by a mugger and only fights crime throughout the night. Even though without superpowers he has many more weaknesses and is at a larger disadvantage, he makes up for it with his use of technology and true skill.

4. If you could change any one law, what would it be?

I would not change a law. If I made the decision to change a law, I wouldn’t know what kind of impact it would have on society. It could make it better for a few and worse for many. You just cannot tell. It is like the back to the future movies where changing something small could change the future drastically. But out of consideration, I think that I would possibly change some immigration laws so that it would be easier and quicker to become a permanent resident since I know our family went through quite a bit before we got our card and it took MANY years.

5. Is life a matter of reality or is it all just based on perception?

I think that it is mostly perception. It is like the saying one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. A lot of things are based on perception, such as the way you look at things. Seeing things in an optimistic manner will make things seem happy and make you hope for the best. However, in a pessimistic view makes you feel lost and everything seems that no good can come out of it.

6. Is it better to be too hot or too cold?

I believe that it would be better if someone was too cold. If you are too cold, he can put on more layers, get under a blanket, and there is just a whole bunch of more ways of getting warmer than getter cooler. If you are too hot, you can only take off a certain amount of layers, you would have to wait for ice, and all that sweaty in the meantime would get you sticky and sweaty.

7. Which is better: to get in a car accident that isn't your fault and lose a leg or to get into a car accident those is your fault and kill an old lady?

I would most definitely lose the leg. I think that losing my leg over the loss of a person's life is next to nothing of importance or value. However old the lady can be, I think that if I knew that I caused the death of another person, I would never forget about it and that the guilt would kill me (figuratively speaking). Plus! if I DO lose a leg from an accident based from someone else, I would probably file charges over something and once again, a leg for a life is a no-brainer to me.

8. Do you believe that pain and suffering is a necessary part of life?

Yes, because without pain and suffering everyone will think everything is fine. If you do not ever suffer or go have any pain, you do not have the ability to think and have an understanding of many things at a certain level. Life cannot always be great and the pain and suffering is what makes us humans. Even though we shouldn't embrace these things and want the least of it as possible, I think that without these, a person wouldn’t be able to developed character. Without pain or suffering, would there even be something as happiness or success? I don’t really know, because there wouldn’t be an opposite that creates the other, such as light and dark in a sense. (Yin and yang?) Without one, the other can't exist?

9. Is animal testing acceptable?

No matter how a person sees it, it is acceptable. Many people think that it is cruel and inhumane and that animals should have rights. However, a lot of things that are tested on animals are for the safety of HUMANS. All the products released that we use we tested on animals so that we, as the consumers, do not get hurt by any side effects. Would it be better to test on humans rather than animals? Or should we not test on them at all and buy things that may have serious side effects on your body or mind? Sure animal testing can be bad, but if you really don’t want them to do it, think about how it affects your life in all the things you buy and use.

10. Do you believe that ghosts exist?

I do not believe that there is anything such as a ghost. It is something that was created from the fear of many people and from thoughts of spirits coming back from the dead to haunt them. They create a certain type of fear that some love, such as horror movies, and sometimes, the fear of ghosts can also be used to bend the will of small children in cases in which parents say to their children that brushing their teeth will keep the ghost away from their house.

11. Do you believe that you can never have too much of a good thing?

No reply……

12. Do you believe that school is the best way to make a person smarter?

I don’t know that if school, is the best way to make a person smarter because the definition being smart is so different to many. It is sometimes mistaken with intelligence. There is street smart, and there is book smart. People think that geniuses are people who are extremely smart and get straight A’s and take five AP classes and get into the best colleges. School opens many things to kids and gives them many experiences, but there are many experiences that you cannot encounter or see at school should be seen. Like the saying seeing is believing, I think many people need to SEE how other countries that are not doing as well as the United States are like and how it feels to not have their parents do everything for them. They need to see for themselves how much freedom they already have in America compared to places like Saudi Arabia and how thankful they should be for what they have because places like India are very much different. By seeing these things, they can be smart and be thankful and make most of what they have.

13. Do you believe that Free Market Capitalism is fair? If not, what would you suggest?

No reply……

14. Do you believe that war can be justified?

Well. I am not with the people who say that there should never be conflicts or wars and I am not the people that say war is the answer. Some wars, I can see why they could have occurred, but just how the war is conducted is what I think matters the most. You do not go out smartly and most efficiently, you will lose many more lives that you should have.

15. If you could switch your gender, but it had to be permanent, would you?

No pho-king way. I am happy to be a boy, and have no regrets or ANY second thoughts. I personally do not understand the people who want a sex change or the people do get a sex change. In my religious view, God created you the way you are, so why change the creation of God. In a more different way of thinking, you were born as a boy or a girl. Why complain about something that was never in you own hands and try to act as God by changing your sex?

16. Do you think you are anyone's favorite person in the world?

Uhh…. I really cannot say I am a favorite. Parents tell their children that they are their favorite child if they have siblings. I know for a fact that my eldest sister is their favorite. Afterwards, I use to believe that my Dad took my definite though, that my eldest sister is the favorite period. Other than my parents, who can I second sister to be his favorite and my Mom me. Now however, I cannot tell because they have sort of switched behaviors but sometimes go back to how they were. It is be a favorite of? Friends have their own parents, teachers may have a favorite student, but I don’t think I am anyone’s. I never really every thought if I was anyone’s favorite, but I know that in some classes, I think that some kids are favorites to some teachers and things like that. I don’t think that this is a pressing matter in my lif

Kuk Sool Won!

A favorite hobby of mine is Martial Arts. It is probably one of the most self rewarding things that I have ever done. Every advancement in belt rank until finally reaching black belt gives a feeling of a great accomplishment. At every test when everything you learned is put to the test and you prove yourself gives a great feeling. Even you near the end of a test you become dead tired, energy from nowhere surges through you when it comes to breaking. The once dry musty air feels fresh and crisp and the feeling you get when you properly execute the move and break a board is too good for words. It does not matter whether you broke it or not and if you don’t do so well, it points out exactly what needs work. I find martial arts to be extremely fund especially when you learn something new. Learning how to use swords, knives, staffs, short staffs, and numchucks makes me feel “special” (not in the retarded way for those who may make jokes). Martial Arts are even considered a sport! As I went up in ranks, a few of my friends I had made during class quit because they felt they were overwhelmed with schoolwork. However, they still feel great about taking Martial Arts because they learned how to do some cool things and have a better chance of defending themselves. This may be appealing so some, but when you become a black belt, and you are going to fight someone, you have to tell you opponent that you are a black belt. If you do not and fight them without warning, you can get sued for murder because your fists are weapons and you know how to use them properly. I personally found this stupid because anyone can kill anyone with their fists even though they don’t know how to “use them properly”. Some may find that it isn’t cool until they become a black belt, and some do not make it. But! For those who do, I think it shows a lot of determination and discipline to make to up that far because it does take a couple years. I do not think that I wasted my time and am trying to become a second degree black belt. This so beats any sport because you can fight each other wearing protective gear and you can throw hard punches/kicks and won’t have to worry about hurting the other person. You can participate in competitions and it isn’t very brutal such as boxing.

Me as an Animal?

i dont not know what kind of animal i would be. i could be a bear since i like to eat and sleep and that;s pretty much what they do all day. I could also be a dog, because i think that if i set an alliance of some sort or something like that, i will stay loyal and stick with my words; However, i also think that i could be a fox, because i can be sly at times and be sneaky. And of course, im pretty sure i could be like a sloth because i can be extremely lazy at times. According to the quiz, i am most likey to be a Wolf. I don't know if im very strong willed, but i do find myself pretty independent and misunderstood quite a bit. I also know i am attaced to the few i respect and love(even if i may not show it). I dont really consider myself a loner but i think i would also seek comfort in my friends/packmates.

What Is Your Animal Personality?

Wolf
Take this quiz!

Quizilla |
Join

| Make A Quiz | More Quizzes | Grab Code

CLOWNS.....

A fear that I have had for as long as I can remember is my fear of clowns. Clowns are people dressed in weird clothing with a freakishly white face, painted lips, weird symmetrical markings, and a round red nose. This fear mainly originated from a story I was told and a part of a movie I had seen. The movie name was called IT, and a beast took the form of a clown and abducted kids. A scene was when a small child was riding a tricycle and the mom goes inside. There were many large white bed sheets hanging on lines and the wind was blowing. There is no sound at all and when one of the sheets flies upwards, a clown is shown. As the sheet comes down another one takes its place in the air and the come is closer. The clown moves closer and closer until the scene suddenly ends and the clown and child are gone. A bit later on in the movie, a small boy is playing in the rain with a small boat his brother had made him. He boy puts the boat next to the sidewalk where the rainwater is flowing and follows it as it makes is journey down. The only sound is the rain falling and his footsteps. Suddenly, the boy notices the drainage pipe and tries to stop the boat from falling in, but was too late. He stares at the dark hole and put his face closer to it when a clown’s face appears. The clown holds up the boat and smiles. The boy slowly reaches for the boat and the only thing I remember is a cloud scream/yell (I had shut my eyes).

The story I was told was when I was with my sisters. I was the only ‘small kid’ and the older kids decided to tell stories. They turned off the lights and closed the curtains to give a spooky feeling and they began. The first couple stories didn’t scare me but then the story about a clown doll was told. It began when a young girl and her mother went to the supermarket. There, the girl saw a clown doll and asked her mom if she could have it. However, being a poor family, the mother said that she could not. When they up to pay for the food they had bought, the cashier told the girl that she could have the clown doll, as long no one would be alone with it. The girl and mother took what they had and went home. When they were unpacking the groceries, a call came from the hospital saying that her dad had gotten into an accident. Immediately, her mom left to the hospital and let the girl stay home by herself. When the mom got came back, she noticed that no one was in the house. Looking around, she found the clown doll and noticed that it had gotten larger. Near the mouth was blood and then………. SLLUURRRP! That’s how the story ended.

I always avoided clowns and never liked to see them even on cartoons (unless they were getting beat up which was when I would laugh). I don’t know why but even now, if I see a clown, I get a weird feeling and they just freak me out. Even the Mcdonald clown dude is hella freaky.( if you want to see scary pictures of clowns jsut google image it).

He also says that at this moment, they cannot overthrow the leaders and try to fix the problems.

so we keep waiting
(waiting)
waiting on the world to change
we keep on waiting
(waiting)
waiting on the world to change

This part is repeated many times throughout the song, and he sings that they are just waiting for the world to change.

it's hard to beat the system
when we're standing at a distance
so we keep waiting
(waiting)
waiting on the world to change
now if we had the power
to bring our neighbors home from war
they would have never missed a Christmas
no more ribbons on their door
and when you trust your television

what you get is what you got
cause when they own the information, oh
they can bend it all they want

He is saying that if they held the power, they would not have created a war and that the media can give biased reports because they are the only source in which the community can get information form. He says that you cannot always trust what is said, especially by the media.

that's why we're waiting
(waiting)
waiting on the world to change
we keep on waiting
(waiting)
waiting on the world to change

it's not that we don't care,

we just know that the fight ain't fair

so we keep on waiting
(waiting)
waiting on the world to change

and we're still waiting
(waiting)
waiting on the world to change
we keep on waiting
(waiting)
waiting on the world to change
one day our generation
is gonna rule the population
so we keep on waiting
(waiting)

waiting on the world to change

now we keep on waiting
(waiting)
waiting on the world to change

waiting on the world to change(x4)

In this last section, John Mayer states that it’s not that people don’t care about the issues, it’s just that there isn’t too much they can do about it. So, they are waiting until it is time for their generation to become the leaders so that they can change the world.

I think that this song should be heard because it tells us about how people who want change for the better are not taken seriously and how we cannot believe everything we hear. It says that most people just wait for the world to change because there is not much that they can do. The song tells people to wake up and think about the problems we face today instead of thinking that everything is fine, because it isn’t.
